Chinchillas require a unique dry bath, ground sediment rock, called chinchilla dust. The dust cleans the fur of oils, dirt, removes dead fur and prevents mats. Put about one inch or more in the dust pan, put it in the cage for 10-15 minutes then take it out or they will use it as a potty box. Bath them 3-4 times a week for a healthy and happy pet.
